How you should feel about your competition
Cloud Ave blogger Mark Suster recently wrote a couple of really good articles about how you should feel, react, and position yourself against your competition. I encourage you to read them. The links are below.
One of the themes in my blog posts is about being consistent about your messaging, and how you interact with your customers, employees, and vendors. Mark’s blog made me remember that one of the stake holders in your business is actually your competition.
Not only being aware of your competition and knowing how you differentiate, but also making sure that you are a friendly competitor in that you should never give your competition a ‘real’ reason to hate you.
Rather, let them hate you because you give them no reason to talk bad about you!
